| So, I spoke with the Bridal Depot in Waterloo, Ontario and guess what they said!! They told me that the dress didn't fit because I had lost weight! Isn't that the biggest bullocks you have ever heard?? How come it still fit in the waist, then??? So, this is a warning to any of you out there that might be thinking of buying a dress at that place - DON'T DO IT!! | | |
| So, on saturday morning I had my first dress fitting - and, suprisingly, it still fit!! Actually, the dress is basically perfect - no alterations needed, no hem even! So, that made the seamstress happy cause she is really busy, and me happy cause I don't have to pay for any alterations!!
On saturday evening I went to a dance party, of all things! It was a kick-ass time! My cousins' son Kyle turned 16 this past week and he loves to dance so his mom rented out the local dance studio for a surprise. So, a bunch of us went (I went with mom and dad cause Paul was working) and they had an instructor there who taught us all the merengue, rumba and waltz. I think this might be an idea for my next birthday - so friends beware!! :) | | |
| So, Paul and I had a BBQ this past saturday. Sort of a Stag and Doe thing. It was great! Paul and Lisa did most everything with some help from Everett and Joyce. There were about 100 people there. Paul cut his hair off - got 800$ for it!! :) Wow! So, now Paul and I have some shopping to do... | | |
| So, Marie is now married. How crazy?! I am so happy for her. It was a beautiful wedding, despite the rain! (and the cold). My dress ended up being a right off. Somehow, between it fitting me in the dress shop and putting it on on saturday morning, the armpits got bigger and the chest area got HUGE! The boning in the dress stuck out from my breasts about an inch, despite shoving my bra full of kleenex! So, I am going to call the shop and complain and try to get some of my money back. We'll see how it goes.
